Either one is fine, quads subdivide nicely but they don't actually exist if that makes sense, all quads are just 2 triangles without you seeing the division between them. So if you're working in a subdivision workflow (smoothing your model) you can use quads and n-gons, and triangles are fine as well as long as they are placed where you won't see them. Use anything to get it looking right because at the end of the day your model will be all triangles in game anyway :)
I drew that with textile marker pen. It's something between Doug's first Eagle concept and Eagle Mk4(!).
I also started remaking Rogue Trip's Meat wagon on Blender.
hmm nice, somehow seems like a more..organic..version of the Eagle...
basically I directly saw a penis in the front and boob at the rear and just painted that in in paint within seconds..
maybe this link works?
I like your version of Eagle..i'm much into round shapes and curves and all
Still doesn't work but thanks anyway. I also like curves. Though I think wheel housings are too broad.
Edit. Now it works.
if the wheel housing would be lower I think it'd look like a hybrid between Su borg- Mach 13 and the Eagle
hmm wonder how those blades an pipe would look on this one..
WIP Meat Wagon from Rogue trip:Vacation 2012
I wonder where driver sits. Is it like this. Mask's eyes are windows. But in Rogue trip there is regular door but no cockpit like real cars. I think devs of Single Track didn't pay much attention for rationality and usability when designed this car.
