Going back to getting the APC drivable: If you decode and open Scripts.ZAD/Data_Core/Content/Scripts/VehicleGroups.LOL you can add the APC to the unlocked array like so:

unlocked = {
  "EAGLE_R",
  "CLEAVER",
  "TWISTER",
  "TOWMEISTER",
  "COUNTSLASH",
  "CADDY_FAT_CAT",
  "APC"
}

That makes the APC playable without having to replace an existing car. I discovered this while looking for how to change the amount of cars in a race earlier.

Awesome! Thanks bro I am gonna use this method to try the APC as soon as my game unlocks after an hour or so.

To me TDR2000 never counted. I only played twenty minutes of that version of the game.

In my opinion its like Star Trek 5, it should have never existed. :)

Why is it that when you are a child at the dinner table you can get punished asking for someone to please pass you the fork and knife ?

Trent i like how you just added the apc to the list of unlocked cars so you can drive it, but dont you think like the towtruck and twister its way way way OP ?.

I wonder if i type "CUNT" to that list, maybe i'll be able to drive the super tiny policecar and be an angry little tick on every other driver's back. hahahaha :P

Edit: Oh, Veh_base.zad lists the tiny policecar as Squad_Car

Edit2: Wuh, LOLdecoder 2.1 just turns my script file to 0bytes. :C Wellll, that's dissapointing.

I have the same problem. But i found out why. The problem is the lua decode app. It needs JET. But even if you install it still doesn't work.
@trent: It would be better if you rewrite the lua decoder in c# as one package. I mean that there is only 1 exe and the lua decoder is written in c# as well.
No JET shit.
