you just made me think of dumpy on monster truck tires, oh and i bet the plow's spikes would be right at driver head level for most cars like that too....
Haha, thats great! Did the suspension or handling act the same?
It drove the exact same as a twister with its own tires, though the blades are actually solid, making the car a bunch wider :P peds didnt stand a chance btw, also GREAT for damaging opponents.
That will prolly take a little more effort, atm the tires just scale to whatever sizes/position the car defines, so if you would stick twisters wheels on say kutter, kutter will still be the same height of the ground with the same wheel size, only it will be twister wheels.
So yea, if you want to put together a 'monster' version of a vehicle, go poke at the vehicle data here; veh_base.zad\Data_Core\Content\Vehicles to actually get larger and lower-placed wheels on a car.
Haha sweet :D adding to first post!
Btw, if you want, link to the script and post a short how-to, but only if you dont intend to release this later, then it makes perfect sense to not share it :P
Btw, i've been building a powerup too, have you maybe found out how to spawn any powerup yet? (aka did you find the "power-up instant selector" by any chance?) because i've been trying to get that but no luck, and i dont really wanna replace an existing powerup.
Nah I haven't figured that out yet, I'm just replacing the opponent tosser as I know where one of those is near the start of the race.
Just to repeat what I've been saying on the CWA, got a line on getting at the textures, for editing:
Heh, maybe I should have swapped it for Cookie Monster, having some palette troubles, but the concept is there:
...which struck me as a good idea ;) I know it looks 'shopped, but I swear it isn't ;)
Slightly cleaner version of Mr C:
Remember, as Razor just reminded me, this is now officially the first 'new/third party' content into C:R, and I can only apologise I didn't do anything more significant to mark this occasion - like all the best discoveries, it was a product of a a mistake, the palette misunderstanding inspired me ;) If you want to try this in your game, download my edited files here (note they're not DXT5 compressed, so the file size is a bit larger than the originals at the moment). Put them in:
Anyone else think the current incarnation of the Eagle looks completely goofy by the way (metaphorically and literally, look at those grills)?
*dislcaimer: It doesn't achieve anything useful or practical, but it was a giggle while I'm working through it now ;) *
Okay, achieved what I was initially going for:
download my Red Max edited files here. Same installation as above. Again, I don't claim it's useful or has any value other than helping me understand how the parts fit together. On a side note, I know nobby has mentioned previously that Max should have never been skin-tone red, and that it was a printing artifact stemming from a budget restriction, which got rolled up into the lore until he set it straight. But, fuck it, we have history with Red Max, so make your all call while we're still playing 'classic carma' mode. No disprect, sir nobbert!
Haha nice, adding to first post (add how-to to your current post if you like)

What did you use to open the texture format TDX?
If you have something to open / replace the texture, it is already possible to do a lot of mods
